In 1883 Taku glacier was named Schultze Glacier in honor of Northwest Trading Company President Paul Schulze. In 1890 the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey renamed it after Ohio Governor Charles Foster, who was President Harrison’s Secretary of the Treasury. Neither of those names are used today, although they may be found on vintage maps. This design is part of the Dorene Lorenz ‘Round the World Traveller collection which celebrates the Golden Age of Travel featuring timeless images from hand painted postcards curated in her exclusive personal collection of family heirlooms. The image is printed edge-to-edge on both sides of the pillow, using no chemicals on the 100% natural silk satin fibers. The seam is covered with a hand-sewn braid trim. The silk cover has a discreet zipper and can be removed for dry cleaning. The pad is comprised of duck feathers and down. These exceptional pillows are hand-sewn by expert seamstresses in London from first quality materials within three days of receiving your order, shipped to your door via FedEx within three days later.
